About Me

Deborah Clapp is board certified in pediatrics and has been practicing with the Sleepy Hollow Pediatrics office of Capital Area Pediatrics since 1983.

Prior to joining CAP, Dr. Clapp worked as an Assistant Professor of health care services at the George Washington University Medical School. She completed her pediatric residency at Georgetown University Hospital in 1981 and graduated from the Medical College of Virginia in 1978. Her undergraduate studies were completed in 1974 at Gettysburg College.

Dr. Clapp enjoys singing with The Metropolitan Chorus and The Falls Church Anglican Choir. In addition, she loves to travel. She has been fortunate to be able to combine these two interests by touring internationally with The Metropolitan Chorus. Trips have included such places as Brazil, Russia, Australia and New Zealand, as well as many European countries.
