About Me

Dr. Rubina Dolvane is Board certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She joined Capital Area Pediatrics in the fall of 2012.

Dr. Dolvane practiced General Pediatrics in Pennsylvania and Maryland prior to joining Capital Area Pediatrics. She completed residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Pennsylvania in 2008 and received her medical degree from Saba University School of Medicine, Netherlands Antilles. She was born in Toronto. Canada and completed her Bachelors degree in Life Sciences at Queens University and Masters Degree in Environmental Health Sciences at University of Toronto. She also lived in Bombay, India for 10 years where she completed some of her studies.

Her special interests include dermatology and childhood obesity. She is fluent in her native language Hindi and is learning to speak Spanish. She lives in Alexandria. Virginia and enjoys travels mostly to Canada, India and other parts of the world.
