Meet George P. Davliakos, MD
George P. Davliakos, MD is certified as a Cardiovascular Surgeon by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery and a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons. He has practiced Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery with Three Rivers Cardiac Institute since 1994. Along with extensive experience performing surgical procedures during this time, he has been instrumental in bringing the newest technology and advancements to the hospitals and patients of the region. In addition to more complex surgical procedures, he performs minimally invasive and endoscopic procedures for treatment of cardiac, vascular, and lung diseases. He is the Director of the Lung Center at Butler Health System which provides patients a comprehensive approach to the treatment of lung cancer and screening.
Along with his colleagues at the Heart and Vascular Center at Butler Memorial Hospital he is involved in the Valve Clinic for coordinating treatments including the newest technology of TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement), a minimally invasive approach to valve disease. A full range of vascular procedures are provided, including treatment of aneurysm and arterial diseases. He has served as Director of the Heart and Vascular Center, Lung Center, and Department of Surgery at Butler Memorial Hospital as well as ongoing roles in quality improvement initiatives.
Dr. Davliakos has patient office hours in Butler, Ellwood City, Clarion, and Seneca. He has staff privileges at Butler Memorial Hospital and Ellwood City Hospital.
